Supply Chain Due Diligence and Supplier Audits
We aim to work only with suppliers who share our standards and values. As part of our due diligence, we assess suppliers before engagement and consider the nature of their business, location, labour practices, and exposure to higher-risk sectors. We require suppliers to confirm their compliance with applicable labour and human rights laws and to maintain ethical employment practices.
We also carry out supplier audits and reviews on a risk-based basis. These checks may include requests for supporting documents, workforce information, site visits, and follow-up questions where risk indicators are present. If a supplier is unable to demonstrate appropriate standards, we seek corrective action within a reasonable timeframe. Continued non-compliance may result in suspension or ending the business relationship.
Training and Awareness
We encourage awareness of modern slavery risks across our organisation so that staff can identify warning signs and respond appropriately. Relevant team members are expected to understand our policy commitments, recognise potential indicators of exploitation, and escalate concerns without delay. We promote responsible decision-making when selecting suppliers and managing ongoing relationships.
Reporting Channels
We want concerns to be raised early and safely. Any employee, supplier, or third party who suspects modern slavery or unethical labour practices in connection with our business is encouraged to report it through our internal management channels. Reports are treated seriously and handled confidentially where possible. We do not tolerate victimisation or retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith. Where appropriate, concerns are investigated and addressed in line with our disciplinary, compliance, and supplier management procedures.
Annual Review
This statement and our approach to modern slavery are reviewed annually to ensure they remain effective, relevant, and aligned with current legal and ethical expectations. The review considers changes in our business, our supplier base, and any issues identified through audits, complaints, or other monitoring activities. We are committed to continuous improvement and to strengthening our controls over time.
